Wednesday Prompt: Think of a time when you or someone you know used informal language in a situation where formal language may have been more appropriate. What happened? Looking back, what could have been said differently, and what did the situation teach you about choosing your words carefully?

Prompt Response: When I look back, I think of my siblings fighting with our parents. I think about how, if both sides had used different words, the outcome could have been so different. I think about how it maybe wouldn't have escalated if someone didn't say something inappropriate to another person or raise their voice. These situations have taught me that it is important to choose your words wisely because the more professional you are and the kinder you are, to have a better outcome for you in the argument that you're in.

Summary: Today in class, we finished our group paragraph on Writeable.

Reflection: This week in school, we started off with vocab and then edited our Writeable paragraph. We then continued with editing this paragraph through stations where we gave our peers feedback.
